West Wall

Sir Walter's blunderbuss, with spring bayonet. Sir Walter's yeomanry sword and pistols, and a pair of his personal pistols.

Contemporary portrait of James IV of Scotland. Small iron box said to have belonged to Mary of Guise, Queen of James V.

Model of King Robert the Bruce's candlestick. Bonnie Dundee's pistol. Presented to Sir Walter by Robert Armstrong who lived in Queen Mary's House, Jedburgh.

Rob Roy's broadsword, dirk, and sporran purse. Double-barrelled carbine which belonged to Andreas Hofer, the Tyrolese patriot who raised the Tyrol against the Bavarians and French in 1809. Given by his lieutenant, Speckbacher, to Sir Humphrey Davy who gave it to Sir Walter.

East Wall

A Hindu chamari for temple use (White-tailed deer's tail).

Rob Roy's gun.

An old Spanish double-barrelled flint-lock gun. This was Sir Walter's own gun.

James VI's hunting bottle.

Left Side of Archway

Bunch of keys. These are said to be the identical keys of Lochleven Castle, thrown into the loch after Queen Mary's escape.
