Edmund I 940-946

Edmund was born in 922. He had two wives, and two children, born of his first wife Ælgifu. Their names were: Edwy, Edgar.

Edmund had a short reign, although in his youth he was the second-in-comand at the Battle of Brunanburh. He was assasinated in his hall, by a robber, whom, he had previoulsy banished, after six years of rule.
