Down, Northern Ireland

County Down A relatively small county in the South East of Northern Ireland with the Irish Sea to it's East.

Covering an area of 953 square miles County Down has a population of 55,000.

In the south are the mountains of Mourne and in the east the Strangford sea lough.

The county town is Downpatrick with the main industry dairy farming.
